A very sweet Steiff Tabby Cat made in the 1950's. He stands 7 inches/17cms tall to the top of his head and is 14 inches in length from ears to tip of his tail. He is completely all original, made from grey and white striped mohair plush with 95% coverage. All original green glass eyes with black slits, pink nose horizontally stitched and mouth stitching and neck ribbon. He has the seldom found fully jointed poseable head and limbs. He retains his postwar silver Steiff button in his left ear, shiny, silver, flat with embossed writing "Steiff". He has a concertina type squeaker device in his tummy which does not work. He is straw stuffed. A lovely playful character in excellent condition for his years.
